Behind the Scenes

 In this blog, I (Maisie) will be inserting images and videos of the behind the scenes of our tourism ad. 

Bedroom Scenes

This picture shows Lamiya (our main camera man) taking specific clips of Kristine (our main actor) in her bedroom. I (Maisie) took the behind the scenes picture with my phone.

This picture shows me (Maisie), helping Kristine (our main actor) demonstrate how we want the scene of her walking in the bedroom to turn out. Lamiya (our main camera man) took the behind the scenes picture with my (Maisie) phone.

Beach Scenes

This picture shows Lamiya (our main camera man) capturing the sunset on the Double Six beach from the place we chose to stay at. She used her camera to take a picture. Kristine (our main model) was the one who took the behind the scenes picture and sent it to me. 

This is a picture of Lamiya (our main camera man) capturing the sunset from a little bit closer. Unlike the previous picture, this time she took clips and pictures while standing up together with Kristine (our main actor) and our extra actors. Kristine took the behind the scenes picture with her phone.

Lastly, this is a picture showing Lamiya (our main camera man) capturing the people at the Double Six beach. She meant to show the tourists and locals in the area at that time. She also used her camera for this, and Kristine (our main actor) was the one who took this behind the scenes picture.

Playroom Scene

This picture shows Lamiya (our main camera man) taking clips of Chelsey (our additional actor) playing darts at playroom as one of our fun activities. Lamiya used her phone this time with the help of her tripod to steady her hands while take clips. It also shows Felysia (our additional actor) in the corner of the picture playing her phone. This behind the scenes picture was taken by me (Maisie) using my phone.

This picture shows Lamiya (our main camera man) taking sample clips of me (Maisie) to test out some camera angles and movements. She also used her phone and tripod to film this time. Kristine (our main actor) used her phone to capture this behind the scenes picture.

Slushy Society

We don't have many pictures when shooting at Slushy Society because everyone was very occupied. Me and the other girls except Lamiya (she was cameraman) were all actors in this scene and so no one could take behind the scenes pictures. Oscar (Lamiya's friend) was busy doing his own thing so we just forgot to ask for his help. 

The picture above is a picture of Fely taking a selfie, showing Lamiya drinking the slushy we bought for the Slushy Society clip and Oscar just playing with this phone.

Shooters

In this picture, it shows all of us, including Lamiya, taking the chance to take actual pictures in the photo booth. While the photo booth scenes were planned to be used in our ad, we took the opportunity to take a group photo together for our own personal reasons.

BTS & bloopers videos

Lastly, I (Maisie) made a compilation video of behind the scenes and blooper clips. I couldn't upload the actual video here because it exceeded 100MB, so I decided to upload it on YouTube and paste the link here. Enjoy:)

Reflection: This was done by Maisie, and we are grateful that she decided to help with the BTS blog. Throughout recording, we found it difficult to take BTS scenes because everyone had a job which means no one could take the picture for us. Because of that, we sometimes forget to take BTS pictures. Overall we manage to complete this simple task but it would be less stressful if we didn't need to ask a working member to take BTS.
