Script and StoryBoard

In this blog, I will post our StoryBoard that my team member Maisie has created for our project.

Heres a brief explanation of some scenes:

Scene 2 & 2.1: In this scene, we've added a short script to create a connection to whats inside the advert which also helps structure out the context of the message given.

Voice over of "Maya"( Voice recorded by Michelle)  :
"Yo, you wanna go out tonight?"
Anna ( Acted by Kristine ) :
 (sighs)

Changes:
Throughout making ad, we found it difficult to create storyboards before shooting the scenes. Heres all the changes we did in our advert.

Scene 1 (Bedroom): In this scene, we've extended it by adding a clip of the actor, Anna, walking into her bedroom feeling exhausted. To which then it cuts to scene 1 from the story board.

Scene 1 (Insert Text): When we showed our introduction scene, our teacher decided to give us an idea to put rhetorical questions in our first scene to make it seem more "advert type". Heres the changes that we've added

Scene 3 (Beach): We also decided to add 2 other clips to make the beach scene more longer.

Scene 8 (Love anchor): Originally we wanted to use love anchor as the next cut after beach, but after looking back to how many shots we had, we decided to put Playroom first which was followed by Slushy Society then Love Anchor.

For the rest of the storyboard, it was created after the final submission so there isn't much changes to talk about.

Reflection: This StoryBoard was created by Maisie. Overall the storyboard was neat and organised but there were many issues that we've encountered. We re-wrote the storyboard 2 times because we couldn't decide which scenes goes first or last. Throughout the process of making this, it was may more easier to just record and make the storyboard after the filming. Even though that wasn't part of how storyboard works, in our next project, we'll manage to make our storyboard organised to record shots quicker.
