Location Scout & Risk Assessment

Heres a list of possible locations that we will be filming in and the potential risk that we might face during filming. 

Lamiya’s House

Events in scene:	We will record scenes of the characters where they are fighting, having fun, some single shots of them and when they were in love. Specific locations: Couch / living room Bed/ bedroom Hallway Running around in the fields Picnic dates Adventuring together
Pros of location:	Accessible Cheap Not too far from each other
Cons of location:	Too crowded Too noisy Still under construction
Alternatives:	Someone else’ house (?)
Risk Assessment
Potential hazards:	Potential risk of being uncomfortable while filming since the house is still under construction. There is also the potential for us to get sick due to the rainy season.
Evaluate risks:	There are other people that may be in the house getting disturbed by us filming.
Control measures:	We have to ask for permission and have them notified that we are filming so we both respect each other.
Responsibility:	Someone has to supervise when they have nothing to do. They also have to help ask for permission so people in the house are alerted.
Time frame:	Every time we film we will have people in charge to make sure nothing gets in frame to not cause failed shots to not waste time.

Pros of location:	Fits our theme Hidden gem (peaceful) Spacious
Cons of location:	Might rain (due to rainy season) Bad weather = No sunset Public place = anxious filming (people watching) Crowded during weekends
Alternatives:	Legian Beach
Risk Assessment
Potential hazards:	High tides Bad weather (rain) Rocky pathway
Evaluate risks:	Get dragged by tides Get sick from bad weather Trip and fall due to broken pathway Equipment broken from the environment
Control measures:	We will consider an alternative location for when weather gets bad during that day, and we will be extra careful when getting from one place to another considering the unstable paths
Responsibility:	Team members and (possibly other crew)
Time frame:	Ready in advance (before set)

Shooters Bali

Pros of location:	Free entry Traditional photobooth Colour theme matches the music video
Cons of location:	Very hot so our actors will sweat their makeup off Far and heavy traffic nearby Hold up customers if they want to use the photobooth
Alternatives:	Living world/ icon mall photobooths, timezone
Risk Assessment
Potential hazards:	Too crowded and since it’s a bar type venue there’s a risk of people doing axe-throwing after drinking. Basketball might get thrown around and knock somebody out.
Evaluate risks:	Axe throwing can cause injury Alcohol consumption starting fights or rough behaviour
Control measures:	Listen to staff and follow rules and safety regulations Stay away from the people drinking
Responsibility:	Whoever isn't in charge of filming.
Time frame:	When we get on set or before our way on set.

Cosmic Diner

Events in scene:	The ending scene where she's on a date with another guy and when he is running to find her
Pros of location:	It's not too far from everyone Very quiet place = more comfortable to film It's a very traditional, which matches our theme
Cons of location:	We have to purchase to use the location It will look less realistic since it’s a quiet place
Alternatives:	Lulu Bistrot, Monsieur Spoon, Shooters
Risk Assessment
Potential hazards:	It's very small so setting up the perfect set to film may be too cramped and we might have to move existing furniture.
Evaluate risks:	We might damage properties by accident if we were to move furniture to set our filming layout. We also may distract existing customers if there are any.
Control measures:	We will firstly ask for permission to move the furniture and make sure someone is in charge of keeping an eye out to respect the location's environment. We make sure we aren't too disturbing and we will have to apologize to them.
Responsibility:	Anyone who isn't doing any work in filming or an extra hand if we invited someone to help.
Time frame:	Before filming or when we are on set.

Pros of location:	Very close to Lamiya’s House Open space Free Entry
Cons of location:	Its a neighbourhood May disturb residents
Alternatives:	Kuta Palace Residence, Random Street, Sekar Jepun/Tunjung
Risk Assessment
Potential hazards:	Might be disturbing to residents since we are filming in a private personal space.
Evaluate risks:	We might receive complaints on our disturbing actions as we are using someone else’ neighbourhood (not our own = harder to face complaints).
Control measures:	We will be sure to not yell/scream too loudly and focus on getting our shots done as soon as possible with limited retakes while also not blocking ways to anyone’s houses so we will not disturb anyone’s personal space.
Responsibility:	Our team + helping crew (or someone we know that lives there).
Time frame:	Right before set.
